Revox
REVOX CD 226
Released in the late 1980s, the Revox B 226 CD player still holds its ground with serious advantages. First and foremost, its build quality lives up to Revox’s stellar reputation: a product designed to last, provided it is properly maintained.
It incorporates proven Philips components. Introduced in 1985, the 16-bit TDA1541 digital-to-analog converter (DAC) was also used in Philips and Marantz players. The CDM-1 mechanism was present in the very first CD player, the Philips CD-104.
The B 226 offers three outputs: fixed, variable, and digital, along with various programming options and an infrared remote control (B-201CD).
With its precision and accuracy, this CD player remains a reference in high-quality CD playback.
