The Olive series was marketed from 1988 to 1992 and was a major commercial success among audiophiles worldwide. Its design and presentation are minimalist, featuring heavy steel cases with a textured yet ultra-resistant surface, olive-green front panels, and large black knobs.

The system presented here is complete, including its specific power cable and a cable for one source. All three components have been thoroughly cleaned and recapped with Kemet capacitors for power and Nichicon Gold for the rest, ensuring performance identical to when it was first released in 1988. The NAP 62 preamplifier does not have a built-in phono input, but phono boards can be added if needed.

A small system with the performance of a high-end setup, this ensemble delivers 2 x 30 Watts at 8 Ohms, but with the combination of the HICAP and NAP 90, the dynamic range and perceived power are truly impressive.

True to NAIM’s philosophy, this entry-level system offers a very neutral sound reproduction, free of coloration, consistent across the entire frequency range. It has a strong sense of rhythm, bringing out the best in your finest recordings while being unforgiving with poor-quality ones.
