McIntosh MC 275
The McIntosh MC275 is a tube power amplifier. First launched in 1961, it remains in the manufacturer's catalog to this day, with its design having changed very little since its initial release.
The McIntosh MC275 delivers 2x75 watts through a push-pull configuration of KT88 tubes (a total of eleven tubes are required for its operation). It features both balanced and unbalanced inputs, as well as a standby system that activates after thirty minutes of inactivity.
For over sixty years, the McIntosh MC275 has been praised for its sound reproduction qualities. Regardless of the musical genre, it offers exceptional clarity and definition. Ideally, the McIntosh MC275 should be paired with a preamplifier from the same manufacturer, such as the C24 or C26.
