Braun CSV 300 & CE500 Set
Braun is a brand apart in the world of hi-fi. In addition to its turntables and audio systems, the manufacturer also produced amplifiers.
The Braun CSV-300 is a compact integrated amplifier, designed to power a bookshelf setup. Due to its modest output (30 watts per channel into 4 ohms), it's best paired with high-efficiency speakers. As for features, the amp includes a tuner input, tape input, phono input, and an auxiliary input.
Built like a tank and designed by the legendary Dieter Rams—who collaborated with Braun for over thirty years—this little amplifier is a safe bet!
The Braun CE 500 tuner was originally released alongside the CSV 500 integrated amplifier and the PS 500 turntable, forming a stunning hi-fi ensemble designed by Dieter Rams in 1968—an iconic set that has graced the most stylish interiors for over 50 years.
This black version of the CE 500 tuner is rare on the vintage hi-fi market, but its strengths go far beyond looks. It features a 4-gang tuning capacitor, excellent sensitivity, and precise analog tuning.
A true cult object where aesthetics meet minimalism, and function meets durability—the Braun CE 500 is built to stand the test of time.
