Big Star "3rd"

Third (or Sister Lovers, released in 1978) is Big Star’s third album, recorded in 1974 after Chris Bell’s departure.

The album marks a dark and experimental shift from their previous work, blending melancholic ballads like “Holocaust,” chaotic rock outbursts like “Kanga Roo,” and introspective passages. Long regarded as unfinished, it is now celebrated as a cult masterpiece foreshadowing indie rock.

Original U.S. pressing in excellent condition!
